Sarah Cooney (b.1982 Stockton-on-Tees, UK) received her MA in Painting from the Royal College of Art, London in 2008. She currently works in Middlesbrough where she is recipient of Navigator North's Studio Bursary 2016.
The paintings are imagined responses to her interior world.
Subtle painted moments convey a sense of feeling and atmosphere, capturing
her experience through colours, patterns and shapes.
